Willis Dysart from Los Angeles, California: “I will glance at each
of these bills…and add up the serial numbers in my head”
Garry has
collected four one-dollar bills from the panel at the start of the show. Dysart has a remarkable, self-taught ability
to add and multiply large numbers without pencil and paper. He first gained widespread notoriety from a
1938 Ripley’s Believe it Or Not feature in which he was dubbed “Willie the Wizard.” Since then, he continued to demonstrate his
ability in live performances such as trade shows, and on other television
programs.
Howard Anderson from Alexandria, Virginia: “Garry switched the
panel’s money…the bills he returned to them are counterfeit”
Anderson
works for the Secret Service in Washington, DC and makes speeches and
presentations about the problems law enforcement agencies face with
counterfeiters. Coincidentally, he and
Garry are childhood friends.
Special guest Ray Bolger:
“Garry and I will do a dance routine together”
Using simple
split-screen trickery, we see Bolger’s feet and Garry’s top half combined into
a single dancing figure. Later, Betsy
participates with Bolger as well.
