Peter Lawford, Betsy, Henry, Bess

Lawford will be appearing in The Farmer’s Daughter on Sunday night.

Joyce and Martin Schrader from Granite City, Illinois: “Somebody stole our house”
The Schraders purchased a small house for $1000.  When they returned from a week’s vacation, the house was gone.  Bess has a house she’s trying to get rid of (E464), but the Schraders decline her offer because it would cost in the neighborhood of $50,000 to move.

Mrs. Sutherland, her daughter Mrs. Lipman and infant Kevin from Queens are three generations of the same family.  Kevin’s secret: “My mother is backstage…the lady holding me is my grandmother.”
Mrs. Lipman is youthful looking so the panel assumes her to be Kevin’s’ mother.  Mrs. Arlene Hearn appears at the end of the game.  Garry asks Mrs. Lipman’s age and she plays coy.  According to records, she is almost 42 at the time of this Secret.

Special guest Tom Ewell has the panelists read stories from a newspaper, as they wear headphones that play their voices back to them on a delay, tripping them up.  Later, all four try to sing “Accentuate the Positive” together.  Ewell is appearing in the film Tender is the Night (1962) and on Saturday in a CBS special live presentation of the play The Fourposter.
