Keith Schultz from Los Angeles: “I was Betsy Palmer’s son in a
movie (8 years ago)”
Young Mr.
Schultz is only eight and a half years old now, so he was just an infant when
he and twin brother Kevin (who later appears) took turns playing Betsy’s baby
son in The Long Grey Line (1955). The brothers would play twins frequently on
television, notably in the western series The
Monroes (1966-1967), and would have credits independent from one another as
well. In the 1980s, they jointly started
a photography studio they continue to run today.
Bunny Levitt from Chicago is a world record holder in:
“Basketball…I scored 499 consecutive foul shots”
Harold
“Bunny” Levitt is only 5’4” but made basketball his career. Soon after setting his record ten years ago,
he joined the Harlem Globetrotters as a halftime attraction, challenging fans
to a free-throw contest. His record
would stand until 1975, but he would continue to be a sought-after free-throw teacher,
claiming such famous pupils as Pete Maravich, Bill Sharman and Calvin Murphy. Levitt shoots a few here, with staffer Pat
McCormick returning the ball to him.
Special guest Jane Powell is wearing a single dress that she
will modify into different styles with the help of two large pins and backstage
assistants. She says there are fifty
variations that can be made with the one dress.
The panel is blindfolded for her style changes. Powell will appear on the Bell Telephone Hour Friday night.
