Guest Al Terry has Bess’ Christmas gift, after she was neglected last week: “A 15-room house in Bayonne, New Jersey”
Before they play the game, Garry signs a contract purchasing the house for 69 cents.  The catch is that she only owns the house.  The land the house stands on is to be made into a parking lot for the supermarket across the street, and she has 30 days to move the house.  Garry also mentions Bess will be co-host of CBS’ coverage of the Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1.

Special guest Jack E Leonard tries out a variety of wigs to cover his bald head, all provided by “Mr. Kenneth” of the fashion house Lilly Dache.  Kenneth Battelle was one of the most famous hairstylists of the era, primarily known as the “Secretary of Grooming” for the Kennedy administration. Jacqueline Kennedy’s hairstyle was widely imitated, and Mr. Kenneth was responsible for it.  Mr. Kenneth continued to work as a hair stylist until his death in 2013.

For the final segment, the panelists play “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” on bells, joined eventually by the Salvation Army Band, which performs other Christmas standards.
