Renee Williamson from Conway, South Carolina: “I’m wearing 14 different outfits”
Renee is a beauty queen who designed her versatile layers of fabric. She entered her talent for sewing, and for modeling her creation, as her official “talent” in the 1960 Miss South Carolina pageant.  She didn’t win the contest, but a full-page photo story about her design gained her the attention of the Secret staff.

Annie Fargé and Monsieur [LaSalle] from Paris: “He taught me how to speak English”
Fargé is a French actress, currently starring in the CBS sitcom Angel (1960-1961).  In it, she plays a lovably scatterbrained young newlywed in America who struggles with the language and culture of hew new country.  Despite kind reviews for Fargé, the show only lasted a single season.  After a handful of guest spots on American series, she returned to France where she continued her acting career and later became a theatrical producer.  Years earlier, in France, M. LaSalle exchanged English lessons for acting lessons.

Special Guest Myrna Loy wants to prove that men don’t want their women to be perfect.  Betsy and Bess are in on the Secret, and hope that by laying on the perfect attributes of a wife (intelligence, neatness, cheerfulness and affection) a little thick, they can annoy Bill and Henry.  Loy’s career as an actress began in silent films of the 1920s and would reach into the 1980s. Her biggest fame was in the 1930s when she played half of the mystery-solving couple Nick and Nora Charles in a series of films beginning with The Thin Man (1934).  Loy is appearing in the movie Midnight Lace (1960).
