was: “I received more than 600 proposals of marriage.”
Mr. Joseph has since married, but not to any
of the women who wrote in as part of a stunt in 1956 on Don McNeill’s Breakfast Club.
Dr. Clifton Berlinghof, Andy Elkins and Rolfe Parsons, all from
Binghamton, NY: “We were patients in a hospital room donated by ‘I’ve Got A
Secret’”
On the May 9, 1956 show (

), the show paid tribute to Dr.
Mary Jane Ross, who had delivered 5,000 babies in Binghamton.
Mr X appeared on July 20, 1955 (E145) as the man with the
longest name in any telephone directory.

He is now unlisted.
Louise Gordon from Brooklyn, whose
June 23, 1954 (E89) Secret was: “I wrote my sweetheart a letter 3,200 feet

She has now been married to that serviceman
sweetheart for the last three years, and they have a young son.
The final two guests, [Susan Ellen
Schwartz] and [Frankie Corotto] were born on June 19, 1952, the day I’ve Got A Secret debuted.
