Special guest Orson Welles returns to reveal his predictions about the presidential election results.
Welles had been on the show four weeks earlier ( E205 ) to make his predictions.  Yesterday was Election Day, and Welles' efforts turned out to be remarkably accurate.  Welles said that Eisenhower would win over Adlai Stevenson in a landslide, with 40 states, 450 electoral votes and a popular vote difference of around nine million.  The actual results had Eisenhower carrying 41 states, winning 457 electoral votes and having a popular vote spread of 9,687,740.  Some newspaper reports marveled at the accuracy of Welles' prediction.  Others saw the whole thing as a simple magic trick.
