Jayne, Bill, Faye, Mason Morfit

This show is the first of what would become a recurring (roughly annual) event in which all the guests are relatives of famous personalities.  On the panel for this show is Dr Mason Morfit, Garry’s brother.  The guests include:

Steve Allen's mother Belle Montrose , an actress and vaudeville veteran.  Steve appears.

Arthur Godfrey's brother, who performs in a trio.

Stuart Symington's son James Symington a ​ballad singer who's also a lawyer.  The senior Symington is a US senator from Missouri who would serve from 1953 until 1976.  Before that he was the first United States Secretary of the Air Force.  James attended Yale where he sang in the Glee Club and with the Whiffenpoofs. James would serve from 1969 until 1977 in the US House of Representatives representing Missouri.

At the end of the show, the entire studio audience gets up and files onto the stage, wishing Garry well on his upcoming summer vacation.
