Unusual makeup of a three-female panel, with Laraine filling in for Henry.
R William Patterson from Dayton, Ohio: "In exactly 83 seconds, I will get up and leave."
Patterson is a city commissioner back home in Dayton and, more importantly for the purposes of this game, the Democratic candidate for the seat in Congress currently held by last week's guest Paul Schenck (
E194). After Schenck's appearance the week before, the legal folks at Goodson-Todman decided that his opponent in the fall election should get equal time. This being Secret, however, they decided to have some fun with it. The show figured out how long Schenck was on stage last week, and that number formed the basis of Patterson's secret. After Patterson walks off, Garry comically explains the whole thing. Back in Dayton, Schenck accused Patterson of pettily demanding equal time, but by all indications, his appearance was entirely the show's idea. In November, Schenck would defeat Patterson in the general election.
Another guest is the Italian actress Pier Angeli.
She is the twin sister of Marisa Pavan
(
E184).
Special Guest Rocky Graziano
