Bill, Jayne, Henry, Mrs Wyler

Mrs. Wyler is selected from the studio audience to fill in for Faye.

Unidentified man: "I didn't see a girl for two years"
We are told this unfortunate situation took place during World War II

David Streger from New Rochelle, New York: “I returned a library book 19 years overdue”
Streger's mild humiliation is compounded somewhat by the fact that he is a member, and former president, of the New Rochelle Public Library Board of Trustees. After leaving the library board, Sterger would serve on the New Rochelle City Council in the 1970s.

Special guest Jack E Leonard: “I’m going to eat the world’s largest ice-cream sundae while the panel are in weight reducing machines.”

While Leonard eats, the blindfolded panel is subjected to various pieces of exercise equipment.  A long clip from this segment is seen on the show’s fourth anniversary program [ E192 ].   Leonard is an aggressive insult comic (by all accounts a softie offstage) who wasn’t afraid to make fun of himself too, usually over his weight or his baldness.  “Fat Jack” (he emphasized his girth on stage by wearing suits that were too small) made hundreds of television appearances without ever having his own vehicle, or ever much of anything to promote.  He was also popular in the Vegas nightclubs.  He would become one of the most frequent Secret guests, making ten appearances over the show’s run.

This episode has not been reviewed.  Information comes from alternate sources, including Gil Fates' handwritten notes.  Quoted secrets are based on those notes and are believed to be accurate.
