Both Garry Moore and Steve Allen are on hand for this episode, which introduces Steve as the new host of I've Got a Secret. When CBS announced earlier in the year that Garry's variety show would not be renewed for a new season, Garry not only let his displeasure be known in the media, but also decided to step away from all his other television and radio commitments for CBS, including Secret. Two years later, in the fall of 1966, Garry would attempt a comeback with a new variety hour on CBS (See

). Competing opposite NBC's western juggernaut Bonanza (1959-1973) the new show would last only four months.
We know little about the specific details of this episode. It does not appear to be among the surviving kinescopes. It has never been replayed by either Game Show Network or Buzzr, and the original kinescope is not among the reels donated years ago to such entities as the Library of Congress and the UCLA Film and Television Archive. The only things that are known are that the show was recorded back at the end of the previous season and that Garry's old friend, magician Milbourne Christopher, is one of the guests.
