Bill, Betsy, Alan King, Bess

Henry Morgan hosts.

King is heading to Glasgow, Scotland for an international command performance for Queen Elizabeth, featuring performers from 26 countries.

E.O. Milton Larson from Ironton, Colorado: “I am the entire population of Ironton, Colorado”
Ironton was a bustling mining town in the early 20th century, with a population of 1,800 at its peak.  Once the mining operations declined, there was no reason to stay and the population slowly dwindled.  The town was still fully incorporated with the 72-year-old Larson as its only resident, but after his death it would become one of many western ghost towns.  Larson’s appearance here would generate some tourist curiosity briefly.  Intrepid travelers can visit the town’s remains today.

Dennis Mead from Delaware, Ohio is a student who gathered a variety of mechanical parts and:  “I made a sculpture for my art class”
Mead’s materials included transformers, a bicycle wheel, an oil temperature gauge, an air compressor fan, a telephone and parts from three sewing machines.  Mead is an award-winning designer of “motion sculptures.” He demonstrates this monstrosity, which he admits is just for fun, as well as a smaller, sleeker model that, among other things, blows bubbles.

Special guest Jack E Leonard is wearing earphones under a large fake beard.  They are feeding white noise so that he can’t hear the questions the panel asks.  Henry cues him how to answer.  Leonard’s patented aggressive humor is on full display in a funny segment.
