magician who performed in American throughout the 1950s but was better known in
his native Denmark and throughout Europe.
Garry says nothing about his magic background, but instead identifies
him as “Monsieur Chapeau,” an expert hatmaker.
With the flourishes of a magician, John creates a couple of elaborate
headpieces.
