The second of two shows recorded in Winter Haven, Florida, outdoors at the Lake Silver Amphitheatre

Delores Kipple Oswald from Miami Beach: “I traveled 200 miles from Miami to Nassau...on ONE water ski"
Delores Kipple, "Lorey" to her friends, accomplished this feat back in June of 1955 at the age of 22.  She made the trek in ten and a half hours, with her father operating the tow boat.  She ended her adventure with blisters on her legs (from the pounding sea water), and cuts on her hands, not to mention ten pounds lighter.  She said she made the trip, "just to see if it could be done."  At the time, it was considered a record for distance.

Florida State University students Steve Frasier, Bill Arnold and Brick Mason: “We're going to play catch...we won't need this ball...we throw a 108-pound girl"
Together with 108-pound colleague Susie Smith, the four students are members of FSU’s Flying High Circus, a Tallahassee institution since at least the 1940s which continues to perform today.  The act the students perform is known as a “quartette adagio."  A one-hour special featuring the entire circus would air two months later, on May 18, as part of the CBS sports anthology series Sports Spectacular.

Special guest Debbie Reynolds challenges the male panelists to narrate a fashion show.
Among the participants is newly-crowned 1961 Florida Citrus Queen Sandra Guthrie.
