Wanda Tropp from Berrien Springs, Michigan: “I have 5 brothers and
sisters backstage…they’re all taller than I am”
Wanda is 6’1” tall. Brother Richard is the tallest at 6’6”. In between are Robert, Patricia, Marie and
Joyce. That’s four sisters all over six feet.
Three of them won the Miss Berrien Springs pageant at various times, Pat
in 1956, Joyce in 1957 and Wanda in 1959.
Special Guest Jane Wyman brings a
series of aptitude tests to challenge each panelist rather than a traditional
Secret. Wyman was an Oscar winner for Johnny Belinda (1948) and a popular box
office draw in the 1950s, remembered mostly today for being the first wife of
Ronald Reagan (1940-1948). Later, she
would play the devious matriarch Angela Channing in the prime time soap opera Falcon Crest (1981-1990).
