Lin Dilks of New Castle, Pennsylvania: “I ran a race against a horse.  I WON!”
Dilks has actually won many races against various horses.  The trick here is that Dilks is a long-distance endurance runner who simply outlasts the horses that he races.  He’s been doing it since the early 1930s, and at 64 years old at this appearance, is still doing it.

Special Guest Bob Crosby gets the panel members to sing musical notes of various pitches.
When taped and played back, they make up the Winston jingle, more or less.  Mostly less.

George Malina, Frederick Carson, Mike Connato, Tony Gilha: “We’re all taxicab drivers…Each of us drove a panelist to this studio tonight”
The four are decked out in tuxedos.  Producer Chester Feldman later called this one of his favorite Secrets, since so much was unknown until the last minute. The complications of securing the four men, who dropped off their charges only minutes before air time, required split-second timing.
