All of the Secrets have to do with the theme of love and marriage.

[Helen and Bob Sheehan] from Paxton, Massachusetts: “During my wedding ceremony…my husband fainted…the best man fainted…the maid of honor fainted…and my mother broke the heel of her shoe”

Mr X: “I introduced Bill Cullen to his wife”
Jack Narz has a bag over his head and affects an odd accent.  Bill’s wife Ann and Narz’s wife Mary Lou are sisters, making the two hosts brothers in law.  (Jack and Mary Lou would divorce in 1961.) Ann and Mary Lou appear after the game.  At the time, Narz is the host of the daytime game show Dotto.  Only two months later, Dotto would become the first game show implicated in the quiz scandals of the era.   Narz was not complicit in the scandals and his career survived. He would remain a popular host into the 1970s.

Mr. and Mrs. Amrit Bhalla of Anderson, Indiana: “We were married before we even met”
The Bhallas came to American from India in 1955.  They would become US citizens in 1960, two years after this appearance.

Special Guest Dana Andrews
Before the show, the women in the audience were asked, “If Henry Morgan proposed to you, what would your answer be?” Andrews uses those responses randomly to answer the panel’s questions.  Andrews is about to appear in the Broadway play Two for the Seesaw, taking over the part from original lead Henry Fonda.
