Mr. X: “I have two sisters on the panel”
George Edward Cotter is one of two boys in the family, both lawyers.  (The Meadows sisters took their father’s middle name professionally early in their careers.)  In his professional role, George represented Audrey when drafting her contract for The Honeymooners.  He added a clause, virtually unheard of at the time, which would pay Audrey residuals if the episodes were ever rebroadcast.  The show became a cultural landmark, playing and replaying for decades and making Audrey a fortune in the process.

Anthony J Rinaldi from Upstate New York: “My electronic garage door opened every time ‘Sputnik’ flew over”
The Russians launched Sputnik on October 4, in essence firing the first salvo in what became known as the ‘space race.’  While the Eisenhower administration was more or less aware of the Russian satellite plans all along, the American public was taken by surprise, and somewhat taken aback. Silly stories like this one made the papers, but they masked real apprehension and anxiety in the Cold War era.

Special Guest Dennis Day
While the blindfolded panel asks questions, Day makes various wardrobe changes to model Halloween costumes for his six young children.
