On this special show, relatives of famous people perform first, then reveal their Secrets.

Twelve-year-old Miss A: “My mother is Martha Raye”
Melodye Condos performs A Smile and A Ribbon.  Raye, nicknamed “The Big Mouth” for her loud comic delivery in films and television, was married seven times.  Melodye was her only child, by her fourth husband.

20-year-old Mr B: “My father is Harpo Marx”
Bill Marx performs a jazz number he composed, alongside Norman Paris’ quintet. The younger Marx attended Julliard and spent his career in music, mostly as a composer and as a performer in jazz clubs and lounges.  He also recorded.  As recently as 2023, he was still performing in a lounge near Palm Springs.

Mr. C: “I’m Gene Kelly’s brother”
Fred Kelly performs an elaborate tap dance routine.  He was the youngest in the vaudeville act The Five Dancing Kellys that included his famous brother.  As an instructor, he taught Gene how to tap dance, and also taught ballroom dancing to Princess (later Queen) Elizabeth and Princess Margaret.

Mr. D: “I’m Bill Cullen’s father-in-law”
Heinz Roemheld plays his song “Ruby” from the film Ruby Gentry (1952).  Roemheld scored hundreds of motion pictures, going all the way back to the silent era.  He won an Oscar (on display on the piano during his performance) for Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942).  At the time of this Secret, Roemheld was also the father-in-law of game show host Jack Narz.
