Don McNeill hosts

[Mildred Johnson] of Chester, PA: “My daughter was born while I was watching ‘I’ve Got A Secret’”
Wacky childbirth.  Mrs. Johnson’s daughter was born during the notorious Easter show of March 28 ( E180 ) making her about four months old here.  The show showers Mrs. Johnson with gifts.

Bill McMaines from Palos Park, IL: “I’m going to play the organ at BOTH political conventions”
Mr. McMaines has a collection of political campaign songs.  Dick Noel, from McNeill’s Chicago-based Breakfast Club radio program, performs one of them, accompanied by McMaines.  CBS coverage of the 1956 political conventions will preempt I’ve Got A Secret for the next two weeks.
Special Guest David Wayne creates a mini political convention
Enlisting the audience as delegates and McMaines on the organ, Wayne stages a convention with the panelists as candidates.  They have to guess what it is they’re running for.  (The “winner” has to clean up the mess that’s being created by all the balloons and confetti, which is monumental.) Wayne had a successful fifty-year career, usually as a supporting actor, in film, stage and television.
