Mrs. Becker: “I was married 50 years ago today” and daughter Mrs. Lang: “I was married 25 years ago today”
Wacky matrimony.

Special Guest Keenan Wynn plays bingo with the studio audience
Wynn was an incredibly busy and prolific character actor with star presence who averaged about four films a year throughout the 1950s in a career that ran from 1934 until his death in 1986.  He is the son of comedian Ed Wynn, the grandson of early Broadway and film actor Frank Keenan, the father of screenwriter Tracy Keenan Wynn and the grandfather of actress Jessica Keenan Wynn.

Phil Yazdzik from Pennsylvania: “I ate 77 hamburgers at one meal” and Charles Pfister from Wisconsin: “I ate 61 pancakes at one meal”
There is a story in Norse mythology of an eating competition between Loki and his servant, but mostly, 20th century face-stuffing has been the stuff of state fairs and publicity stunts and “unofficial” world records, which both of these men claim.  Colorful figures like Takeru Kobayashi and Joey Chestnut would draw attention to competitive eating in the 21st century, and today, Major League Eating (yes, that's what it's called) is a professional sport.  It is perhaps most famously represented by the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, which began in 1916 and has been shown on ESPN since 2004.  Yazdzik and Pfister will face each other in a pancake eating contest on next week’s show [ E134 ].
