Mrs LD Carrington from Slaton, Texas: "I lost 112 pounds in 15 months"

Special guest Billie Burke sings a song she sang on Broadway in 1908.
That's probably "Good Night Dear" from the play Love Watches. Love Watches ran on Broadway from August, 1908 until January, 1909 for a total of 172 performances. We don't know much about the play, except that it was described in its original program as "a comedy in four acts." In the 1910s and the 1920s, the beautiful and stylish Burke was one of the best known and highest paid actresses in the country, and was married to Broadway producer Florenz Ziegfeld of "Follies" fame. Today, she is best remembered (by far) as Glinda the Good Witch from the MGM musical The Wizard of Oz (1939).
