Special guest Jean Hersholt throws pies at the panel.  April fool!
Again, that's all Gil Fates tells us in his notes.  Herscholt was a Danish-born actor best known in his lifetime for starring in the film Heidi (1937) and for playing Dr Christian in a long-running radio series  (1937-1954) that also inspired a series of six films (1939-1941).    Today, his name lives on in the form of the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, an honorary Oscar presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
