Garry the Weatherman: "Welcome to I've Got a Secret on this crisp, cool autumn evening in New York."

[Roy Davis] from Dover, Ohio along with five-year-olds Johnny (”This is my grandson”), Mike (“This is my great-grandson”) and Jeff (“This is my son”)
Wacky childbirth.  In a remarkable bit of live television that only someone with Garry Moore’s talent can salvage, Johnny at one point says to Garry and Henry, “You two are going to die because you smoke cigarettes.”

Special guest Jane Powell: “There are 500 light bulbs sewn into my dress”
Powell is making her third appearance on the show in less than a year, and all have had fashion themes.  The miniature lights sewn into her outfit are a product of the Sylvania Electric Company. Garry says they are the smallest ever made, and are used for computers and surgical instruments, among other applications.

John Fredericks: “I’m going to cut Betsy’s hair…short”
Betsy is about to perform the role of Nellie Forbush in a production of South Pacific at the Mineola Playhouse on Long Island and needs her hair cut short for the role.  Betsy would eventually tour with the show.  Fredericks begins cutting Betsy’s hair live on stage during the segment.
