Fred Baldasare from New York City: “I swam the English Channel entirely under water”
Baldasare donned scuba gear and set an underwater distance record. A year ago (
E455), he appeared on the show having swam 35 miles but not quite making a successful crossing. His successful swim took place on July 11 of this year.
Mrs Herbert Herring from Columbus, Georgia
We have no idea what Mrs Herring's secret might have been. An article in her hometown newspaper said the Herrings and another local couple were visiting New York and that Mrs Herring "was chosen to appear" on the show.
