In a brief continuation of the segment from the previous week, the show opens with the audience singing Henry’s song “Is It True Or False”.  Frank De Vol, a composer, arranger and occasional actor, appears in his role as a Columbia Pictures record executive to offer his opinion on releasing Henry’s song as a single.  He breaks the record over his knee.

Eight-year-old Kenneth Brown from Philadelphia: “I wrote a musical composition…It was performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra”
Young Mr. Brown’s composition “An Israeli Symphony” was selected by Assistant Conductor William Smith from several works submitted by young Philadelphia composers as part of a contest.  The orchestra performed it on April 9 as part of a children’s concert, featured alongside works by Rossini, Prokofiev, Gershwin, Tchaikovsky and Ravel.  He performs a bit of it on an organ.

Donald R. Ridge, Oral Showalter, Dick Williamson and Roy Fetty from Anderson, Indiana: “We made our wives Easter bonnets”
The four men work for Delco Remy (today Remy International), a manufacturer of automotive products, and made the headwear as part of the company’s annual Easter contest.  Sixteen hundred Delco Remy workers made bonnets for the ninth annual competition.  The men’s wives appear in their bonnets.

Special Guest Julius La Rosa, making his second consecutive Easter appearance ( E328 ), this time has the panel go on a blindfolded Easter egg hunt.
