Buttercup: “I’ve just been hired to appear in a Broadway play”
Buttercup is a cow, specifically the cow that so entertainingly ruined the final segment from the previous week.  Buttercup will appear in the musical Greenwillow, starring Anthony Perkins and with music and lyrics by celebrated composer Frank Loesser (Guys and Dolls).  It would run for 97 performances between March 8 and May 28, 1960.  The show’s producer Robert Willey appears.

Don Barber from the University of Houston and Bernard Schultz from the University of Texas: “We trained for football by studying ballet”
Both players are decked out in their football uniforms, including padding.  Their lovely young instructor Dewann Wharton puts them through exercises and a brief performance, while still in their football uniforms.

Special Guest Eva Gabor challenges the panel with tongue twisters.
On December 17, Gabor will be the hostess of The Big Party (1959), an ambitious but ultimately short-lived series of variety shows on CBS.  She is the youngest of the three socialite Gabor sisters, including Zsa Zsa and Magda, who between them had a total of twenty husbands.  She would later achieve her greatest fame as Lisa Douglas on the television sitcom Green Acres (1965-1971).
