Ronnie Burns: "My father is the world's greatest singer (he made me say so)"
Ronnie is the son of George Burns and Gracie Allen.  He has recently joined his parents' self-titled sitcom (1950-1958) as a fictionalized version of himself.  His appearances on the show helped its ratings with younger viewers, but Ronnie did not warm to the show business spotlight.  After a few more half-hearted efforts in Burns family projects, he would retire from show business. Here, George phones in from the west coast and warbles a bit of "Saving My Love For You."  Dad's overinflated sense of his own musical ability would be a standing joke in his act for decades.
