[Elba Rodriguez]: “I won a turkey in an essay contest”
The eight-year old won with her take on the theme “What Thanksgiving Means to Me.”

[Nancy Ubitt]: “My great great great great great great great great grandfather came to America on the Mayflower…on the way he fell overboard and almost drowned”
A lot of folks are descended from John Howland, an indentured servant aboard the ship, but nevertheless among the 41 men to sign the Mayflower Contract when they reached what is now Massachusetts in 1620.  He and his wife, fellow Mayflower traveler Elizabeth Tilly, had ten children and 80 grandchildren.  Today, some two million Americans can trace their roots to the couple.  They include such notables as Franklin Roosevelt, George W and George HW Bush, poets Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Mormon Church founder Joseph Smith, pediatrician Dr Benjamin Spock, and actors Humphrey Bogart, Alec Baldwin, Anthony Perkins and Christopher Lloyd.

[Ann Shields]: “My family and I make up an orchestra”
The “family orchestra” - just as it sounds, a musical group made up of family members - was something of a tradition in the early 20th century when entertainment options were scarcer.  Upon the advent of phonographs, radio and television, the family orchestra became more of a novelty.  The Shields are not particularly noteworthy in the entertainment business, just talented musicians keeping a family tradition alive.

Special Guest Debbie Reynolds: “I’m going to play French horn with the Shields Family Orchestra”
The panel must sing their questions to Reynolds.
