Three unidentified women: "We all dated Garry Moore at
school”
As we've mentioned elsewhere, Garrison Morfit, as he was known growing up, attended the confusingly named high school Baltimore City College. Even then he was a performer. His name frequently showed up in the city papers in the 1930s, having participated in school plays and other theatricals.
Lawrence Wahlstrom from Hollywood: “I built a machine with 10,000 parts that does absolutely nothing”
Wahlstrom is a landscape architect by profession, but enjoys tinkering in his spare time. His contraption attracted media attention, including a Life Magazine profile, after he demonstrated it at engineering shows and conventions around the country. Most newspapers placed the number of moving parts at a more modest seven hundred.
Special guest Peter Lawford does a “hot & cold”
answer skit (involving a block of ice, an ice pack, fur cap & gloves)
Once again, all we have to go on is this brief description in the Fates notes. We really don't know what was happening here.
