Bill, Jayne, Henry, Joan Bennett

Unidentified guest: "I have a snake under the desk"
Jayne in particular loathed snakes, which didn't stop (and more likely encouraged) producer Allan Sherman from featuring them frequently in the early years of the show.

Municipal Judge Charles S Peery from San Francisco: "I married Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio"
Some or all of Judge Peery's identity may have been withheld because the marriage, which took place on January 14, was international news. The couple, both wildly famous in their respective fields, had been dating since 1952.  It was the second marriage for each of them, and it would only last ten months.  Blame has typically been assigned to DiMaggio's reported jealousy (he had retired from the Yankees after the 1951 season, while Monroe's star continued to ascend), temper (there were allegations of abuse) and general disdain for the publicity that remained so important to Monroe's career. The two would reconcile late in Monroe's life.  After her death in 1962, DiMaggio arranged for flowers to be delivered to her crypt several times a week for two decades.  He never remarried, and never commented publicly about their relationship.  He died in 1998.

Special Guest Dane Clark: “I’m going to have a snowball fight with the panel”
In a 1955 newspaper column, producer Allan Sherman said that actor Paul Douglas was originally scheduled to be the guest, but that he flatly refused to participate in a snowball fight.  Rather than change the spot, they changed the guest.  Douglas never appeared on the show, and this was Clark’s only visit.
